AMU University Quick Facts

  • B.Tech/ B.Arch Admissions are done on the basis of AMUEEE which is conducted at different locations while BE (Evening) admissions are done through Written Tests.
  • A valid score in NEET is mandatory to secure admission in MBBS/ BDS and BUMS.
  • MCA/ M.Sc/ MA/ M.Ed/ MFA/ M.Li.Sc/ M.P.Ed/ MIRM/ MFA and MHRM admission tests are conducted by the concerned departments of AMU only.
  • GATE qualified candidates can apply for M.Tech program. In the case of remaining seats, AMU conducts its own Departmental Admission Test.

AMU Admission 2023 Application Form (Guidelines for Filling the Online Application Form)

  • The Aligarh Muslim University will invite separate application form for each course.
  • The application form will be available online at official website of the university.
  • Candidates can submit application form via both modes i.e. online as well as offline mode.
  • For offline mode, candidates have to download the application form from the website and fill that form completely and send it to the university.
  • The application form will be available from January/February 2023 onward.
  • Candidates should fill all the details carefully and correctly.
  • The application fee is necessary to pay while submitting an application form.
  • The applicants should take the printout of the application form and send it to the concerned authority with all pre-requisites.

Application Fee:

  • For B.Tech/ BA LLB and MBA/MBA (IB) – Rs.650
  • For MBBS/BDS – Rs.500
  • For B.Com, B.Sc, BA (HONS.) – Rs.400
  • By online mode, the fee payment can be made through debit/credit card or net banking and application form fee will be done by offline

AMU Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Maximum Age limit

For B.A.LL.B:

  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate.

For B.A. (Hons.):

  • Senior Secondary School or Intermediate Certificate with 45% marks from the recognized University.

For B.Sc (Hons.):

  • Passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, English.

For M.Sc (Biotechnology):

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2+3 with Biological Sciences, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, and Physical Sciences or with Chemistry.at least 55% marks.

For B.Tech and B.Arch:

  • Passed senior secondary School Certificate of this University with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

For MBA:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks is required.

For Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery:

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate of this University or an equivalent examination passed with 40% aggregate marks in any one of the following subjects:

Aligarh Muslim University Admission 2023-24

From 6th April 2023, AMU will begin accepting applications for its undergraduate, graduate, diploma, post-diploma, certificate, advanced certificate, and PhD programs. Application forms without late fees must be submitted before the last date of it.There are a variety of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs offered at AMU. Students who have earned a high school diploma, an undergraduate degree, and a master’s degree are eligible to participate in related higher degree programs. Students will need to deposit INR 800 as a processing fee in order to be considered for admission.

AMU BTech Admission 2023

Aligarh Muslim University provides education for Bachelor of Engineering through its Faculty of Engineering & Technology. It offers 7 different subjects in Engineering. It grants admission to its applicants based on the entrance test called AMUEEE. Students who have passed 12th from the science stream can apply for this entry test and need to score the minimum passing marks in order to get admission in the university.

AMUEE Exam Day Instructions 2023

Here are a few exam day instructions for the candidates going to appear for AMU entrance test / Departmental tests:

  • On the day of the exam, candidates have to carry their own stationery items.
  • Eatables / Beverages (except drinking water) are not allowed inside the entrance exam hall.
  • The candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes before the test starts.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the test has started.
  • Handbag / Carry bag / Mobile phone/calculator/watch / any other electronic gadget will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

Aligarh Muslim University B.Ed Admission

AMU offers BEd admission after passing the entrance exam. It is a common entrance exam conducted by the university itself. In 2023, admission may start in May 2023.
