UPSC Indian Administrative Service 2024 Notification – Prelims & Main Exam Released:

Union Public Service Commission will soon announce the IAS 2024 exam date. Notification of the UPSC IAS exam 2024 will be released in the second week of February 2024.

UPSC IAS Eligibility Criteria:

Before filling the IAS 2024 Application form applicants need to read all the details regarding the IAS Eligibility Criteria .Applicants must fulfill the criteria must only apply for the examination.

Nationality UPSC Exam:

• Applicants should be a citizen of India.
• Besides citizens of Bhutan, Nepal and Tibetan refugees who came before 1st Jan 1962 can also apply
• Indian origin candidates who have migrated from counties like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam and Myanmar, etc can apply.

UPSC 2024 Age Criteria:

Applicants must have completed 21 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years.

Age relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Defense service personnel: 3 years.
• Ex-servicemen including commissioned officers ECOs/SSCOs: 5 years

Education Qualifications:

• Graduation from any recognized university.
• Applicants who have done professional and technical courses should also be from the recognized university.
• Those who are in the final year of graduation may also apply for the exam.

• Hall Ticket won’t be sent to students through the post. Applicants need to download it from the official site.
• Hall Ticket will be released 7-10 days before the exam.Applicants are requested to kindly read the guidelines before downloading the admit card.
• Hall Ticket can be downloading using the application number and password/date of birth. Without admit card students will not be allowed to attend the exam. Carry your ID proof along with you.
