The University of Calicut, known as Calicut University, is a multidisciplinary affiliating collegiate state (public) university near Kozhikode in northern Kerala. Established in 1968, it is the first university to be set up in northern Kerala. The university is co-ordinatinated by the University Grants Commission (re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade).It is headquartered at Thenjipalam, about 20 km south of the city of Calicut, in Malappuram District. Calicut University UG Eligibility 2023
- For the BA course, the applicant should have cleared 10+2 from a recognized university.
- The student should have cleared 10+2 in commerce or science to be eligible for B.Com course at Calicut University
- Students who hold a valid score in 10 +2 from a recognized board are eligible for the application for the BBA course.
- In the case of B.Sc applicants should have a valid score in 10+2 in science PCM/ PCMB with English as a subject from a recognized board.
- For BCA the applicant should have cleared 10+2 with maths and English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level from a recognized board.
- For B.Tech the applicant should have cleared 10+2 in Science with English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level from a recognized board.
Calicut University PG 2023
- For admission in MA course, one should have completed BA in the concerned subject or an equivalent course with at least 45% in the concerned subject.
- One should have done B.Sc with at least 50% in the concerned subject to be eligible for the M.Sc course.
- Candidates who are applying for admission for M.Tech course at the university should have done B.Tech or and equivalent in the concerned subject from a recognized university.

BSW or any bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate - MCA BCA or a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering and Technology as one of the main/subsidiary subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate

BE/B.Tech in the same or related discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks - M.Phil.
Master degree in the same or related discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate - PHD
