Sikkim University Eligibility for UG , PG and PHD
- BA, BSc, and BPA programs are available at the UG level.
- The students who want to apply in these BA, BSc, and BPA courses must have passed 10+2 in the relevant streams.
- MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, LLM, MPA, and MTTM programs are available for the students who want to apply in the PG courses.
- MPhil programs require the students to have at least a master’s degree.
- For Ph.D. courses, the students must have done MPhil in the same stream with more than 55% marks
Sikkim Univestiy Admission Process for UG & PG Courses
Admissions in a majority of UG and PG courses offered at Sikkim University are done on the basis of merit determined through candidates’ marks secured in the last qualifying exam. Admission process at Sikkim University is such that candidates need to attend a counselling session after the merit list is out.
However, it may be noted that some PG courses offered at Sikkim University such as MBA, MSc Chemistry, M Com, and MCA also require candidates to appear for entrance tests conducted by the varsity.
Sikkim University Selection Process PHD and Mphil
- For admission into M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes, selections will be done on the basis of written examination and interview.
- Candidates qualified in NET (JRF)/SLET/M.Phil. examination need not write the written examination, but have to qualify the interview.
