Punjab TET 2024 Exam Pattern Details

There will be two papers of PSTET.

(i) Paper Ist for classes I to V.

(ii) Paper IInd for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Duration of examination: Duration of examination is One-and-a-half hours.

Structure and Content (All Compulsory)

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy –  Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(ii) Language I-  Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(iii) Language II  –   Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(iv) Mathematics –   Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(v) Environmental Studies –   Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

Total- 150 MCQ for 150 Marks

Paper II (for classes VI to VIII): No. of MCQs 150

Structure and Content:

(i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory)- Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(ii) Language-I (compulsory)- Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks

(iii) Language-II (compulsory)- Thirty Questions with Thirty Marks
