Director of Medical Education Thiruvananthapuram, LBS Centre for Science and Technology (LBSCST), Kerala will invites an online application form from eligible and talented students. Admission of students will be on the basis of merit as assessed in the rank list prepared based on the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying exam(s), after having the normalization process

 Eligibility Norms for LBS Kerala B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2024

Nativity: 

• Only Indian citizens are appropriate for admission to professional courses
• On the other hand, PIO/OCI students will not be eligible for any kind of reservation.

Keralite: 

• Students of Kerala origin will be categorized as a ‘Keralite’.
• Children of (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’ as per G.O.(Rt)
• They will not be appropriate for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation.
• Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): Students who is not of Kerala origin but fulfils anyone of the following conditions will be categorized as ‘Non-Keralite Category I'(NK I).
• Students who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents belong to Government of India/Defence Service, posted to Kerala.

Academic Eligibility:

B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. M.L.T. and B.Sc. Optometry Courses:

Passed Higher Secondary exam or exam equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

 B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T.& B.P.T Courses:

Passed Higher Secondary exam conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or exam equivalent thereto

Note:

Students who are going to appl for admission to B.P.T course should have studied English as a subject in Higher Secondary level.

 B.A.S.L.P. Course:

Students must have passed Higher Secondary exam conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or exam equivalent thereto.

Age Limit: 

• Age of students should completed 17 years of age
• No relaxation will be applicable in the minimum age.
• There is no upper age limit except for students under service quota.

Application Fee:

• For General students need to pay   600/-
• For SC/ST students need to pay 300/-
• For Service students need to pay 600/-

• Prospectus can also be downloaded from lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
• Form will not be available by post or from the Office of the Director of Medical Education or from any Government Medical Colleges or from any other office.
